This draft explains what the ministry website collects, why it is used, and the choices available to visitors. Ministry leadership should review it before final public launch.

Draft for ministry reviewLast updated August 30, 2026

1. Information this website may collect

We may collect information that you choose to provide through contact, newsletter, volunteer, merchandise, donation-routing, and ministry administration features.

  • Contact requests may include your name, email address, subject, and message.
  • Prayer requests include your name, optional email, request, confidentiality choice, and separate permission to share. Requests remain private to authorized staff; please do not submit medical records or detailed health information.
  • Partnership inquiries include your name, email, church or organization, and message.
  • Volunteer applications may include contact information, location, church home, church reference, testimony or faith statement, outreach experience, and consent to ministry review.
  • Newsletter sign-ups may include your first name, email address, consent, and subscription status.
  • Merchandise requests may include contact information, requested items, quantities, sizes, and notes.
  • Authorized ministry administrators may provide profile information and upload approved ministry photographs and content.

2. Donations and payment information

When online giving is active, Stripe processes donations through a secure payment form embedded in this website. Full payment-card numbers, security codes, and donor bank-account details are sent directly to Stripe; the ministry website does not receive or store them. Stripe processes payment information under its own privacy policy and terms. The ministry records your name, email, donation amount, frequency, fund designation, transaction reference, and payment status for stewardship and donor support.

The private president dashboard may receive non-sensitive provider records such as donor name and email, amount, date, frequency, designation, transaction status, provider reference, receipt reference, payment type, and masked final four digits. The provider remains the authoritative source for settlement, refunds, disputes, recurring-gift changes, and receipts.

3. Automated support assistant

Questions entered into the automated support assistant are used to provide ministry information. The assistant may use a ministry-controlled Ollama service when configured or answer from the website’s verified FAQ information. Do not submit payment information, passwords, medical details, or other sensitive personal information in the chat. Messages that appear to contain card or bank numbers are rejected before they are forwarded. The assistant is not live staff and may make mistakes.

4. Scripture reader

When you use the Scripture reader, the website sends the Bible reference and selected translation to the applicable Scripture provider. Open translations are retrieved from a public Bible data service. When a licensed NKJV or NASB provider is connected, that provider also requires anonymous Scripture-usage reporting that may use a device and session identifier. The ministry does not send your contact-form, volunteer, newsletter, merchandise, payment, or administration information with a Scripture lookup.

5. How information is used

Information may be used to respond to inquiries, review volunteer applicants, manage newsletter subscriptions, follow up on merchandise requests, administer the website, protect against misuse, keep appropriate ministry records, and improve visitor support.

6. When information may be shared

Information may be shared with authorized ministry leaders and service providers that help operate the website, send communications, host data, or process payments. It may also be disclosed when reasonably necessary for safety, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or protection of the ministry’s rights. The ministry should not sell personal information.

7. Website hosting, logs, and cookies

The hosting platform and authentication services may process essential technical information such as IP address, browser type, device information, security events, and access logs. Essential cookies or similar technologies may be used for security, administration, and sign-in.

The optional new-visitor tour stores a small preference in your browser so the first-visit invitation does not repeatedly appear. The preference records only whether the tour was dismissed or completed and can be removed by clearing this site’s browser storage.

8. Retention and security

Information should be retained only as long as reasonably needed for the purpose collected, ministry recordkeeping, safety, dispute resolution, or legal obligations. Reasonable safeguards are used, but no website or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure.

9. Children’s privacy

This website is not directed to children under 13 and is not intended for a child to submit personal information independently. Although ministry programs may serve children and families, adults should contact ministry leadership before sending identifying information or photographs concerning a child.

10. Your choices

You may ask to correct or remove information you submitted, request removal from the newsletter, or ask a privacy question by using the website contact form or writing to the ministry. Some records may need to be retained for legal, security, financial, or ministry-accountability reasons.

11. Contact

Privacy questions may be sent through the website contact form using the verified contact information on the Connect page.
